Finances

Griffin Center, which is part of Catholic Charities, is supported largely by individual donors and foundation. These provide more than 70 percent of the center’s annual revenue of about $520,000. Government grants contribute about 12 percent. The remaining 18 percent is supplied by firms, corporations, and parishes, the Belleville Catholic diocese, and investments.

About the Griffin Center

Griffin Center, an agency of Catholic Urban Programs, was founded in 1986. The parent agency has been in existence since 1971, serving the needs of the very poor, homeless, and indigent aged of the metro East St. Louis region.
